Anti Ageing Vitamins

Although anti aging face creams containing Retinol and Resveratrol are important to make you look forever young, so are other anti ageing vitamins listed below.

Let’s talk about Vitamin E first. You can get Vitamin E from supplement capsules as it has many anti-aging qualities. One of the benefits of taking vitamin E is that it keeps your skin moist. This is under the term “alpha tocopherol” which can be found in sun blocks to protect you against UVB damage. Vitamin E also repairs dry, cracked skin when it is used as a cream or lotion as there is a mixture of fat-soluble. Free radicals are molecules that have unpaired electrons. It seeks out electron from other cell and oxidizes them and causes tissue damage.  That is why with vitamin E serum, your skin is protected from harmful free radical as it is a powerful antioxidant.

Not only does vitamin E keeps oxidation away but it also improve your immune system when you consume the right amount. It also helps in minimizing the occurrence of diseases such as stroke, cancer and blood from clotting. If you are not a person who is big on supplement, eat foods that contain vitamin E such as nuts, seeds, vegetable oil (corm, soybean and canola) and green leafy vegetables to kind of mask your age.

Another anti ageing vitamins which is worth its weight in gold is vitamin C. This vitamin also helps in protecting against free radicals. You can be exposed to free radicals through pollution, cigarette smoke, and radiation and even through digestion. When you apply vitamin C topically, this anti aging cream can help you by regenerating other antioxidants while it acts as a sunscreen. By taking this vitamin, it increases the production of collagen. Collagen is important as it is the element which provides your skin with shape and firmness. You will need this if you are injured and want your wound to heal.

Just like any other vitamins, vitamin C also helps in preventing the development of cardiovascular disease, age-related cataracts and macular degeneration and other cancer preventing qualities. You can consume vitamin C from fruits (guava and pomegranate) and vegetables (potatoes and citrus).

Let’s talk about your eyes now. There are many reasons why you have those dark circles around your eyes besides lack of sleep and aging. One of it is the leaking of capillaries around the eyes which happens in the pooling and clotting of blood. With vitamin K it helps in constricting the capillaries, breaking the blood clots so that you don’t have any dark circles. It is not a cure but you should make vitamin K as part of your treatment plan using anti aging vitamins. Although your body produces this vitamin, you will benefit from it even more if you consume or apply it as a face cream. It cares for the structural strength of your bones. You can get this vitamin from different sources such as kale, lettuce, broccoli, spinach and non-hydrogenated vegetable oils. Do ask your supplier for these anti ageing foods.

Niacin is another type of vitamin to help anti-ageing as it has B3 vitamin. It benefits you by supplying an unbreakable barrier against viruses, bacteria and other antigens for you to look young. Thus, it also increases your skin’s ability to retain moisture. If you have dry skin, it shows that you are lacking in niacin. When this happens, it will cause cracks between your skin’s “scales”. Other benefit from niacin is that it acts as an exfoliant which will help your skin to shed off dead cells and encourage newer cells towards your skin’s surface. By taking niacin, it prevents risk and rate of atherosclerosis, bad cholesterol from raising, high triglycerides and effects of aging inside your skin. You can get niacin from items such as eggs, meat and fish.

Do you know that Vitamin A is also considered anti ageing vitamins? Ready to use vitamin A is also found in anti aging products such as Retinol. Vitamin A helps slow down aging through its antioxidant. It neutralizes the damaging effects of oxidation which is the cause of age-related diseases and skin degeneration. Just like the vitamin listed above, it gets rid of dark circles under the eyes. Not only does it work as exfoliant to reduce wrinkles and fine lines in topical creams, thus it also helps in reducing signs of sun damage and of course, skin aging. It helps in preventing deterioration of overall bone health and is effective for the treatment of osteoporosis. You can get vitamin A from eggs, fatty fish, topical Retinol and Resveratrol anti-aging applications and supplements.
